Felsenkeller Etzelwang in Etzelwang

Stopped here on a men's weekend on the return journey. In the plan there was only "one" beer and on the next train - far from it. Yes, the beer garden is a bit older but in the house and the sanitary facilities were clean and there was also disinfectant in contrast to other locations. We didn't eat anything but the beer was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

Currently closed. And that's how it looks there too. What a shame

Probably the best beer in Etzelwang. Good bread and sausages with cabbage. Very nice host. Great organic products, a secret.

Everything is ancient, poorly maintained and a very poor menu. There are enough beer gardens with much more charm, comfort and food that probably makes everyone happy. The rock cellar is a flop .. Must not go again

Quaint cellar, despite bad weather bang-full .. Special dish roast goose, plentiful and good. Also, the red cabbage class, only the plate way too small.

Really quaint old beer garden with no frills. Friendly hosts serve good food and drinkable beers at reasonable prices. Although there is no playground, older children have plenty of space to run around and climb on the rocks. Because it is located under a thick canopy of leaves and on the north side of the rocks, it is particularly popular on hot days. Since the Etzelwang train station is almost in front of the door, mining is even more fun 😁

We have stayed several times in the Felsenkeller and can only say, a top beer garden with a great view. Service very friendly and food great. The beer is also very tasty. During a hike in the area you should definitely head to the Felsenkeller. Mfg the master hunters
